STEP 1
Feed a 14mm plastic hairband into a Yellow 350Q, and tie. Discard any remaining balloon.
STEP 2
Inflate a Green 260Q, leaving a 3-inch tail, and tie. Make two 1-inch pinch twists, a 6-inch bubble, a 1-inch pinch twist, a 5-inch bubble, a 1-inch pinch twist, and a 6-inch bubble tied back to the original set of pinch twists. Deflate the remaining balloon and use it to tie the Hat to the hairband.
STEP 3
Inflate a Green 260Q about halfway, and tie. Make two 8-inch bubbles tied together, then trim the excess.
STEP 4
Feed the 8-inch bubbles over the Hat to rest above the hairband.
STEP 5
Inflate a Yellow 160Q about halfway, and tie. Make four ½-inch pinch twists. Break and discard the remainder.
STEP 6
Inflate an Onyx Black 160Q about halfway, and tie. Tie the nozzle into the set of Yellow pinch twists. Wrap the 160Q around the base of the triangle above the 260Q brim, positioning the buckle at the front of the Hat and wrapping the balloon back into the buckle to secure. Break and discard the remaining balloon.
STEP 7
Inflate a Lime Green 160Q about halfway, and tie. Make three 1-inch loop twists, two ½-inch pinch twists, and a 1-inch bubble. Tie off and trim the excess, leaving a short tie tail.
STEP 8
Use the scrap end of the shamrock to tie it behind the Hat band down to the base of the triangle.
TIP: Be sure to get hairbands with no plastic teeth so they don’t damage the balloons!
