Use the instructions provided for an Octopus, Jellyfish, Fish, and Lobster to adorn your own adorable photo frame or any "Under the Sea" themed decor!

Octopus / Pulpo

For this fun little octopus design, you will need the following ingredients:

(6) 260Q Solid Color Balloons
(3) 5" Solid Color Latex Balloons
(2) 5" “Friendly Eyeball TopPrint” Latex Balloons
(2) 11" Solid Color Latex Balloons
(1) 11" “Big Polka Dots” Latex Balloon

 

STEP 1: Make a 5-balloon cluster with the three 5" solid color latex balloons and two 5" “Friendly Eyeball TopPrint” balloons inflated to 4". Tip: The solid color balloons should be the same color as the 260Q balloons as they provide stability and locate the balloon eyes forward. Hacemos un clúster de 5 globos a 4”, Los globos de color solido debe ser del mismo color que los globos 260Q ya que son para dar estabilidad y para ubicar los globos de ojos hacia adelante.

STEP 2: Create the octopus’ head by placing an 11" solid color balloon inside the 11" “Big Polka Dots” balloon and inflate the inner balloon to 8". Tie the inside balloon and cut the excess. Place a second 11" solid color balloon inside the 11" “Big Polka Dots” balloon and inflate to five pumps.
Colocar dentro del globo polka dots 11” otro globo de 11”, inflamos y medimos a 8”, amarrar el globo de adentro y cortar el exceso. Colocamos un segundo globo de 11” adentro e inflamos a 5 bombadas. Tenemos una cabeza de pulpo con una forma diferente!

STEP 3: Wrap the neck of the “Big Polka Dots” balloon into the 5-balloon cluster to connect the head. Tip: To make a bigger octopus, use the 16" “Big Polka Dots.”
Conectamos la cabeza al clúster de 5”. Puedes utilizar también globos de 16” polka dots si deseas hacer un pulpo más grande.
 
STEP 4: To make the tentacles of the octopus, roll a 260Q around a smooth tube without any bending and remove all air. Inflate the 260Q slowly to obtain a well-coiled spiral!
Para hacer los tentáculos debemos usar globos 260Q, sacar todo el aire y enrollarlo en un tubo liso, sin hacer ningún doblez e inflamos lentamente para obtener un espiral bien enrollado y bonito.		 STEP 5: To get a uniform spiral, always remember to not bend the 260Q balloon when you are wrapping it around the tube.
Recuerde siempre de cuidar que mientras esta enrollando el globo en el tubo no puede tener ningún doblez, de esta forma se obtiene un espiral uniforme		 The octopus can be placed at the top of small columns, in photo frames, arches, etc., to complement decorations and give added value to our designs.
El pulpo puede ser colocado en el tope de pequeñas columnas, en marcos de fotografías, arcos, etc., para complementar decoraciones y dar más valor agregado a nuestros diseños.

Jellyfish / Aguamala

STEP 1: Take five 260Q balloons and put a puff of air into each.
Tomar 5 globos 260Q, colocar aire en cada uno de los globos pero sin llegar a inflarlo.

STEP 2: Tie a knot into each 260Q so ¼ of the balloon remains uninflated.
Debemos hacer el nudo dejando ¼ de globo sobrando.

STEP 3: Place a 5" solid color balloon inside a Clear “Big Polka Dots” balloon and make the knot close to the mouth of the balloon to make an apple twist.
Colocamos un globo de 5” de color solido dentro de uno de polka dots clear, haciendo el nudo cerca de la boca de los globos para hacer la técnica de apple tiwst.

STEP 4: Tie the five 260Q balloons in the mouth of the 5" balloons before making the apple twist so they fit inside the connector for a quick and very striking jellyfish!

Amarrar los 5 globos 260Q en la boca de los globos de 5” antes de hacer el apple twist con el fin de que queden dentro del conector y ya tenemos una linda aguamala, rápida y muy llamativa.

Fish / Pez

Ingredients:

(1) 12" Wavy Stripes Quick Link
(1) 5" Latex
(2) 260Qs Onyx Black
(2) 260Qs
(1) 160Q
STEP 1: Place a 260Q balloon side a 12" Wavy Stripes Quick Link.
Colocar un globo 260Q dentro de un QL wavy stripes.
STEP 2: Slightly inflate the 12" Wavy Stripes Quick Link, then inflate the 260Q with three pumps and tie its neck.
Inflar un poco el globo 12” QuickLink, luego inflar el 260Q con 3 bombadas y amarramos los extremos.
STEP 3: To make the fish’s eyes, inflate a 1" bubble in a 260Q balloon and tie. Repeat with a second 260Q balloon.
Inflar 2 globo 260Q haciendo burbujas pequeñas para hacer los ojos del pez, usando la parte final del globo para un mejor acabado.
STEP 4: To attach the eyes, make a raisin twist on each side of the fish’s body at the same point.
Hacemos un raisin twist para unir los dos globos 260Q, quedando uno en cada lado y amarrados en un mismo punto.

STEP 5: Put some air into the 12" Wavy Stripes Quick Link to give the fish its characteristic shape. Notice that the eyes are located more to the left and not in the center.

Colocar un poco de aire para dar forma de pez, observe que los ojos están ubicados más hacia la izquierda y no en el centro.
STEP 6: Inflate a 260Q balloon ¾ full, tie, then make two pinch twists near the neck.
Hacemos dos pinch twist con un globo 260Q.
STEP 7: Place an uninflated 160Q balloon inside an uninflated 5" balloon.
Colocar un globo 160Q dentro de un globo 5”.
STEP 8: Create the tail of the fish by slightly inflating the 5" balloon, then inflate the 160Q with six pumps from a pocket inflator.
Inflar un poco el globo 5” para dar espacio y luego inflamos el globo 160Q con 6 bombadas con el pocket pump. Damos forma de corazón y esta lista la cola del pez.
STEP 9: The double pinch twist is used to create the mouth of the fish and to hide the mechanics of the tail. Tip: Pinch twists can be made in various colors to make this decoration colorful and fun!
El doble pinch twist se usa para crear la boca del pez y otro para esconder la mecánica de la cola. Se pueden hacer en varios colores para hacer una decoración bien colorida y divertida.

Lobster / Langosta

Ingredients:

(1) 12" Red Quick Link
(3) 5" Red Latex
(2) 5" Onyx Black Latex
(3) Red 350Qs
(4) Red 260Qs

 

STEP 1: Place a 350Q balloon inside a 12" Quick Link balloon. Inflate the Quick Link balloon a bit to give space and then inflate the 350Q until you reach the other end as shown in the photo.

Colocamos un globo 350Q dentro de un globo Quick Link 12”, inflamos un poco el globo quick link para dar espacio y luego inflamos el globo 350 hasta llegar el otro extremo como se muestra en la foto.

STEP 2: To create the tail, insert a 160Q balloon inside a 5" balloon. First, inflate the 5" balloon a little and then inflate the 160Q with 4 pumps and tie at the ends of the same balloon.

Para la cola, usar un globo 160Q dentro de un globo de 5”, primero se infla un poco el globo de 5” y luego inflamos el globo 160Q con 4 bombadas y se amarran en los extremos del mismo globo.

STEP 3: To distort the shape of the 5" balloon, it is important to put some air in it to give it the desired shape.

Se deben amarrar juntos al cuerpo. Importante, para dar forma los globos con distorsión de 5” deberá colocar un poco de aire y darle la forma deseada.

STEP 4: Inflate a 260Q, make a pinch twist, and turn it on the body near the tail. It must be connected in the pinch twist. A small bubble is made with the same process, up to four times in total.

Inflamos un globo 260Q, elaboramos un pinch twist y le damos vuelta sobre el cuerpo cerca de la cola, se debe conectar en el pinch twist y se elabora una burbuja pequena para hacer el mismo proceso, hasta 4 veces en total.

STEP 5: The pinch twist line is where all connections are placed for the back.

La línea de pinch twist, donde están todas las conexiones se coloca para la parte de atrás.

STEP 6: To make the legs, use a 160Q starting with two pinch twists followed by a segment of four fingers, another pinch twist, and finally another segment of four fingers.

Para hacer las patas usaremos 160Q, comenzando con 2 pinch twist, siguiente un segmento de 4 dedos, luego un pinch twist y finalmente otro segmento de 4 dedos.

STEP 7: Take two 260Q balloons and fill them with a puff of air to create firmness.

Tomar 2 globos 260Q, colocar aire sin ser inflado y amarrar juntos. Esto con el fin de tener firmeza.

STEP 8: Take a 160Q balloon and make two pinch twists and two loops twists. Make the eyes by inflating two 5" balloons to 2".

Tomar un globo 160Q, hacer dos pinch twist y dos loop twist. Tomar dos globos de 5” e inflar a 2” para hacer los ojos.

STEP 9: To make the eyes and antennae, connect these pieces to the link or connector at the other end of the body.

Conectamos esta piezas a el link o conector del otro extremo del cuerpo para hacer los ojos y antenas.

STEP 10: To make the pinchers, inflate a 160Q to 5cm. For the arm of the clamp, inflate a 260Q and make two pinch twists followed by a 3" bubble, another pinch twist, and another 3" bubble followed by two pinch twists. Glue the legs and pinchers to finish the piece!

Para hacer las pinzas, primero haremos una distorsión de la misma forma que hicimos la cola con un globo de 5” y 160Q. Para completar la pinza inflamos un segmento de globo 160Q a 5 centímetros. Para la parte del brazo de la pinza, inflamos un globo 260Q, hacemos dos pinch twist, seguido un segmento de 8 centímetros, un pinch twist, otro segmento de 8 centímetros y finalizamos con dos pinch twist. Ahora pegamos las patas y pinzas a nuestra pieza para finalizar.
