In 2013, he formed his balloon business, Twisted Inflations, and he started balloon twisting and decor for parties and events. Derek has won numerous awards in various balloon conventions and competitions, and he has been invited to share his passion and knowledge in balloons for multiple workshops in Canada, USA and Europe.

For more than 14 years, Dennis has been wowing customers with his specialty balloon art with the use of modeling balloons and rounds. He creates complex or simple sculptures using any mix of Qualatex balloons. Known throughout the industry for his large tiger sculpture at WBC 2014, he has become wildly popular in the US and abroad.
